Observation Narrative
A nice, herb-rich NW-facing slope with many exposed rocks above Buffalo Creek. The area is known for its spring flora, several to many of which I've missed now. Just west of the plot, the creek turns and the adjacent slope is extremely steep, with hemlock and rich herbs on the lower slope and little to no ground cover on the upper slope. A decent-looking floodplain with impressive-sized sycamores is across from and east of the plot.
